We are looking for a talented and efficient Backend Developer experienced in Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB to join our engineering team at Neoverce IT Solutions LLP.

You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the server-side logic, database schemas, and RESTful APIs for various web and mobile applications.

The ideal candidate should have solid experience in building scalable APIs, secure integrations, and optimized database structures — along with a problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail.

You’ll collaborate closely with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
Design and manage MongoDB schemas, indexes, and aggregation pipelines.
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and cloud services.
Implement authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth, session-based).
Optimize performance and handle large data sets efficiently.
Collaborate with frontend developers for API integration and versioning.
Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability.
Troubleshoot and debug production issues in backend systems.
Work with Git, manage branches, and maintain proper documentation.

Requirements

Must Have:

1–5 years of hands-on experience in Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, promises, and event-driven architecture.
Experience in designing secure APIs and database schemas.
Knowledge of Mongoose ORM and query optimization techniques.
Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
Experience with error handling, logging, and performance tuning.
Good understanding of HTTP, REST, and JSON-based data flow.
Strong debugging skills and ability to identify performance bottlenecks.

Good to Have:

Experience with AWS, Docker, or server deployments.
Familiarity with Redis, message queues, or cron jobs.
Knowledge of GraphQL, WebSockets, or microservices architecture.
Basic understanding of frontend integration (React/Next.js).
Experience using tools like Postman, Swagger, or Jest for API testing.
